After a long “delay” taking a nap and hanging out with a friend, we made it to the park! I haven’t found the natural bridge, in general this is an old marble quarry. Yea, the mountains around here are made of marble… I remember when I climbed up to the top of pine cobble and realized the entire mountain was made of marble.
Anyway Bella’s looking as cute as ever. Of course.
That’s a marble dam, apparently the only one in North America. It was made to power the quarry operation. Let’s see if I can find the natural bridge…
Ahh yes there it is… somewhat anticlimactic…
